Yet Another Day-Care Child Molestation in Today's List of Pedophiles & Perverts

Kentucky man arrested for child sex abuse

Glasgow Daily Times

A Horse Cave, KY man was arrested Tuesday on sex abuse charges.

Ernest England, 60, was charged with first degree sexual abuse (minor under the age of 12) and first-degree sodomy (child under the age of 12).

England was arrested after Horse Cave police were dispatched to a residence to investigate the sexual abuse of a minor. The victim's mother described physical sexual contact between England and her young daughter, according to a Horse Cave Police Department press release.

Police officers read England his Miranda right warning, and according to the press release, he admitted to “several lowly sexual acts with a female under the age of 12.”

England was taken to Caverna Memorial Hospital with complaints of chest pain for evaluation and then transferred to the Hart County Jail, the press release said.

England remains incarcerated on a $100,000 cash bond, according to the jail's website.

Illinois man pleads guilty to sexual abuse and child porn charges

A Sesser man pleaded guilty this past week on sexual charges in Franklin County Circuit Court, according to Franklin County State’s Attorney Evan Owens.

Dustin Brasil, 22, on Dec. 17 entered into open pleas of guilty for the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, and child pornography, a Class 3 felony.

Why no distinction between 'aggravated criminal sexual abuse', and 'aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child'?

Brasil admitted to having sexual contact with a victim between the ages of 13 and 17. He also admitted possessing a photograph of a child who was under the age of 18 depicted in a pose involving the lewd exhibition of the unclothed breast of a child.

The case was investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and is set for sentencing at 9:30 a.m. March 24.

Utah man pleads guilty to child sex abuse

By The Associated Press

PROVO, Utah (AP) — A 33-year-old Pleasant Grove man has pleaded guilty to reduced child sex charges in a case that prosecutors say involved five children.

The Daily Herald reports that Andrew Bishop pleaded guilty Monday in 4th District court to amended charges including first-degree felony aggravated sexual abuse and second-degree sexual abuse of a child.

Bishop was arrested in September and had faced more than 80 counts of sexual abuse.

He face more than 80 counts of child sex abuse and they allow him to plead on just two? Seriously? That's hardly believable!

Sentencing was scheduled Feb. 1.

Bishop has been ordered by the court to have no contact with any of the five alleged victims.

And now he is out on bail waiting for sentencing; why? 5 children are living in fear that they might run into this pervert; for what reason. Does Bishop have friends in high places, or what?
Get the pervert off the streets and keep him off the streets!

Oklahoma man sentenced for child sex abuse,
fighting for new trial
By Jessica Bruha

Nearly a year after a jury found a Newalla man guilty on 11 child sex abuse charges, recommending life sentences for several of the counts, he was formally sentenced Monday.

Prior to the sentencing, a hearing was held for a motion to dismiss 43-year-old Thomas Roye Wahpekeche’s case, based on lack of jurisdiction.

District Judge Lori Walkley dismissed the motion; however, the fight for a new trial isn’t over yet.

“In light of sentencing, this is far from resolved,” said Sam Talley, Wahpekeche’s current defense attorney.

Talley took the case after Wahpekeche discharged the attorney who represented him during his trial in January, Elton Jenkins. Court records show Wahpekeche sent letters to Walkley, prosecutor Jennifer Austin and Jenkins, notifying everyone of the termination.

“You must withdraw from my case immediately,” Wahpekeche’s letter to Jenkins on April 8 states.

In a letter to all parties, also dated April 8, Wahpekeche wrote that he had terminated Jenkins as his legal counsel March 26. A copy of the termination letter was sent to the court clerk the same day, he wrote.

After being informed by jail staff that a pre-sentence investigation was to take place, Wahpekeche wrote that he refused to take part in it until he obtained new legal counsel.

“I refuse to be sentenced with Elton Jenkins as my lawyer,” the letter states.

A 54-year-old Yardley man was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexually assaulting a child at a Morrisville, Bucks County, day care several times more than a decade ago.

According to a court document, Falls Township Police arrested Harry Lawrence III after a woman told officers in November that "many years ago" she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by Lawrence when she was at a day care owned by Lawrence's wife.

Court documents stated the woman told investigators that 10 years ago, when she was about 9 or 10 years old, she was "sexually molested by the husband of her day care provider and that this occurred between approximately six and 12 times."

During the time of the alleged assaults, the day care, Little Joys Day Care, which operated from the Lawrence's former home on the 200 block of Vernon Road, in Morrisville. It has since closed.

The woman told police she attended the day care for about three years, from 2000 to 2003 and during this time, she said she was abused by Lawrence in the basement of the home, according to court documents.
Yardley, PA
The woman, as detailed in court documents, said Lawrence sat her on his knee as a child and touched her inappropriately. When she moved to halt his advances, the documents said, Lawrence allegedly would continue to molest her.

Lawrence is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a victim under the age of 13, corruption of minors and related offenses.

Lt. Harry Ward, of the Falls Township Police, said law enforcement officials worry that there may be more victims who have yet to come forward.

"We believe there may be more victim’s out there. We have just opened two more investigations from information we gained during this investigation," Ward said in an email. "These assaults happened approximately 10 years ago, so if anyone had their children in this day care, please speak to them and see if they have been victimized by this subject."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Stephen Reeves at reevespd@fallstwp.com or at 215-302-3305.

Lawrence has been sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
