Another British Police Force Berated for Failing Victims of Child Sex Abuse

A report led by the Great Manchester Police on Friday criticised its own officers for failing to recognise the scale of child sex abuse in a northern town and putting too much emphasis on the credibility of the victims.

The report looked into how officers handled the abuse scandal in Rochdale, where dozens of young girls were believed to be groomed and trafficked for sex by a network of men.

Allegations of abuse were first reported in 2008, but it wasn’t until months later that police opened investigations.

Nine men of Pakistani and Afghan heritage (what a surprise!) were eventually jailed in 2012 for crimes including rape and trafficking. One victim was just 13.

Former detective Margaret Oliver, who had resigned to protest the handling of the scandal, said similar crimes were still continuing in Rochdale and elsewhere in Britain.

“It is a nationwide problem and there is still an overwhelming desire to conceal the truth,” she told the BBC.

“This was an opportunity, which has been missed again, to bring all this out into the open.”

Greater Manchester Police admitted their force was too distracted by tackling crimes like burglary than listening to abuse victims.

However, the report said no police officer would be disciplined.

Sometimes you can only shake your head.

While Britain is definitely the flag ship in the fleet of Pakistani, etc., child abusers and traffickers, the real question is, 'how many ships are in that fleet?' We know by statistics from Norway and Sweden that some pretty large destroyers are sailing with Britain, but we know little beyond that.

The US and Canada are far too politically correct to even suggest a study into the possibility that such atrocities are being committed in Asian Islamic communities in North America. This ostrich syndrome is ensuring that if such abuse is occurring, that it will continue to happen unabated for some years to come.

It's sheer lunacy in the wake of the European warships, to assume that there are no such boats in our harbours. But the governments won't initiate inquiries because of fear of political consequences, or, in America, fear of tainting Islam with transparency. And, our media won't investigate because they are too liberal to see the very iceberg we are headed for; it just looks pretty to them.
